At this critical time when we are all struggling economically, our young people need the opportunity - and the support - to create a brighter future for themselves, their families, their friends and their communities.

City at Peace is doing just that – bringing together teenagers through our proven program to create safe, peaceful and productive lives and communities for the future.

There is a “quiet crisis” facing teenagers. The rising drop-out rate of high school students in our major cities’ public schools is reaching critical levels. Last year in Washington, DC, only 58% of eligible teenagers graduated; in New York City, only 50% graduated; in Los Angeles, only 45% graduated; and nationally, only 52% of 12th graders graduated.

We are proud to say that City at Peace is having remarkable success with our youth. This past year, 100% of our 12th graders graduated and 95% went on to college.

Given our impact, demand for our innovative program is stronger than ever. To keep up with this demand, City at Peace is growing.
