Accomplishments
 

There are 275 teenagers participating in City at Peace programs each year in the U.S. There are an additional 200 youth participating internationally in Israel and in Cape Town, South Africa.

Over 2,100 teenagers have completed the year long City at Peace program.

City at Peace youth have created 59 original musicals since 1994. This year, City at Peace youth will produce six productions in the U.S., three productions in Israel and one in South Africa.

City at Peace has performed for over 110,000 live audiences since 1994.

City at Peace-Los Angeles was chosen by Women in Film to receive the production of a PSA on behalf of the program in 2005.

Paul Griffin was awarded the National Award for Service by the Hamilton Fish Institute of George Washington University in 2005. He also received the Changemaker Award from Public Allies. Read more.

City at Peace-New York's artists and youth were named "New Yorkers of the Week" in May 2004.

City at Peace-DC was a Margaret Mead Centennial Award Winner in 2001. Read more.

City at Peace-DC was featured in an HBO documentary entitled "city at peace" in 1999.

City at Peace-DC was the subject of a special on "Nightline with Ted Koppel" in 1995. Read more.

City at Peace has been featured in the Washington Post, NY Daily News, Newsday, Greater Good, Charlotte Observer, Baton Rouge Advocate, Santa Barbara Magazine, The Santa Barbara Independent. They have also appeared on numerous local television news programs and cable shows.
